What a day! The Barn at Walnut Creek, while quite literally in the middle of corn fields was such a perfect location to celebrate Morgan and Robert. Ever since their engagement session at Marblehead light house I couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding. They are just so in love with each other you can see it through the camera!
The day started with girls and they had the cutest matching robes so we toasted some champagne and got the day going! Once we finished with the girls we headed to the church to meet the guys and do their “first touch”. This is the first time I’ve photographed this and let me tell you, it is the sweetest thing! The church had beautiful stone we used so they could hold hands around the corner and say hi to each other (NO PEEKING!) before the ceremony. Robert was so nervous he was going to look to far, I had to give exact direction on where to look, he was SO sweet!!
Ladies let me tell you, the way Robert reacted to see Morgan for the first time is what any girl dreams for. With his brother and pastor by his side, photographing him watching his bride come down the aisle had me in tears! After a beautiful ceremony and some family portraits we headed to the barn and took some more portraits. The light here was AMAZING and we captured so many photographs in a tiny little area. You don’t have to have a grand elaborate set up for portraits. Nice light with some shade can go a very long way.
The reception ended the day perfectly. From funny, heartfelt speeches, to Robert telling us how he really feels about Morgan’s cleaning abilities everyone was laughing the entire night. Morgan and Robert I am so incredible thankful we had the opportunity to photograph your wedding day, congratulations!!
