Skok Meadow
This Spring engagement session was at a Metropark that is becoming one of my favorite spots to shoot at! It’s always so pretty and has so many great spots for photos. AND the tall glowy grass photographers dream of. My only complaint is the gnats! I will blame it on all the rain we’ve had because I’ve not noticed them in the past.
The Shoot
Kerri and Chris are the sweetest. I know I say that about most of my couples and families but it’s true. I’ve met some pretty great people taking photos, I’m pretty lucky! I’ve also known Kerri’s family for a pretty long time and photographed her cousin Shelly’s wedding a few years ago. It is always a pleasure working with the same families over the years. Kerri actually had been to Skok when it was still a working farm ( I did not know it was!) and I believed her dad even worked there! Chris is constantly making Kerri laugh and is always keeps me on my toes with what he’s going to do or say next ;). It’s always a great day when you are laughing the entire session, it makes the session fly by. I was however so sad my macro lens was out for repair during this session. I didn’t get many photos of Kerri’s ring (MY FAVORITE)!!! I will just have to spend some extra time on the wedding day getting all the sparklies 😀
In closing
I was super excited that it wasn’t raining for the session, I can’t believe how much rain we’ve gotten this spring/summer. I am hoping for a crisp fall-like day for Kerri and Chris’s wedding later this year, my favorite type of weather. Kerri and Chris, thanks so much for having us be a part of your day! Can’t wait!
