Painesville City Wedding
I’ve photographed two weddings at First Church Congregational in Painesville City and both have been the same family. Kerri is related to a sweet bride Shelly I had in 2017. It is always an honor to continue to photograph the same families. I always love being able to catch up with everyone and see how things have been since I’ve seen them. It also makes the day pretty smooth because everyone knows how everyone works! Churches can also be a bit daunting because of the lighting so having been there before I knew just what to expect.
After the wedding, we walked over to Painesville City Square and got some pretty great bridal party and bride and groom portraits. The light was so glowy with big old beautiful trees and makes it so pretty to photograph. From there we hopped on the bus and made a quick stop at Lake Erie College and my most favorite door in all of Painesville made another beautiful background for a few more portraits.
Kerri and Chris
Kerri and Chris’s wedding was a perfect family wedding. With 25(!) kids under 12 running around at any given time it was so clear how important family is to them. And it also helps kids usually keeps things pretty lively and everyone on their toes 😉
The reception was held at The Kirtlander in Kirtland, OH. Kerri had THE CUTEST “guest book”. It was a drawing of the house from “UP” with lines drawn up and all the guests picked a color, inked their finger and then at the top of the string they put their finger print and signed their name. Recreating the balloons. It was just the sweetest and most unique guest book I’ve seen to date. It will make a great piece of art work for their home.
Thanks to all the kiddos running around the dance floor was never empty and the reception was full of family enjoying time with each other, catching up, and taking a TON of photos at the photo booth.
Congratulations Kerri and Chris <3
