I had the opportunity to shoot at Running Horse Farm for the first time ever at the beginning of September. I have been there a few times in the past second shooting with other photographers but to shoot my own wedding here was so fun! It is the cutest little barn in-between some corn and bean fields. The lights inside strung from the ceiling creates beautiful bokeh, and I LOVE me some bokeh.
Sarah and Randall look absolutely stunning and the details where amazing. Randall was in all black and it looked incredibly sharp, especially with the burnt orange, it really made it pop. It was a hot and bright day but we found some great spots to create beautiful portraits. I also think everyone should build some time in the day for sunset portraits, SO BEAUTIFUL!!
Side story, we had scheduled engagement photos last fall and we all know how crazy everyone schedules are. I had a bride reach out and say her photographer backed out of her wedding (like super close to wedding time) and asked if I was available to shoot it. It just so happened to be the same day of Sarah and Randalls session. BUT Sarah was so sweet and kind and allowed me to send Cheri ( who also shoots weddings) in my place for their session. So coming into the wedding Sarah, Randall and I had never met so I was a bit nervous about how everything was going to go. I had nothing to worry about. Sarah and Randall where so inviting, kind and friendly it was like we’d known each other for a very long time and I am always thankful for brides and couples like that <3
Running Horse Farm was such a perfect little venue for weddings and I am looking forward to getting back there again.
