When you combine Lake Erie college and its beautiful campus and Perry Community center that overlooks Lake Erie, it makes it pretty difficult to not get gorgeous photos on your wedding day. To make it that much better September is, and probably forever will be my favorite month to photograph weddings. I think the hint of fall, the sometimes cool breeze in the air, and overall knowing that change is coming just makes it my favorite month. The cooler weather is also a huge bonus compared to the sweltering hot days in July in August.
Ashley had been referred to me by a former bride, and I will forever be grateful for the people that my couples bring into my life! Ashley is and was such a beautiful, easy going, let’s just get married type of gal. I can not stress enough how important it is to have a go with the flow attitude on your wedding day. In the end only you will know if something didn’t go exactly as planned. Is it really worth it stress out about something that ultimately is just a mere blip in your day?
Lake Erie College
We started with a first look at Lake Erie college and it is hands down one of my favorite spots to photograph. It is beautiful literally any time of the year and there are a ton of spots located on the campus that gives such a great variety. First looks are the way to go if you are looking to not have to rush through portraits. Because we did a first look Ashley and Ross got to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests instead of taking portraits. So if at all possible, do the first look!
After portraits we headed to Perry Community Center for the wedding, family portraits, great food and dancing. The day literally flew by. Ashley and Ross celebrated with friends and family and from what I saw Ashley danced the night away.
Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your day, all the best <3
