What a day!
This intimate June Wedding was the perfect way to end the month. Melissa and Stan where married in-front of immediate family only keeping the ceremony that much more special. I think Melissa wins for the
Classic Portraits and Cars
After the ceremony and some family portraits Melissa, Stan and I spent some time capturing SO many beautiful portraits. I’m becoming a fan of the no/little bridal party. I am able to spend an incredible amount of time with the bride and groom and give them amazing photos. Stan’s father had his old car there and Stan his truck so we got some pretty pictures with those. My first with classic cars and it was fun, it adds a nice element to photos!
Great ending to June
The reception wasn’t your typical reception. It was a very relaxed laid back type of party. The food was incredible and family friends helped prepare it all making it even more special. I think the first thing to go was the Dirt Pudding Dessert (link for you because everyone needs to try this at least once in their life 🙂 ) fairly certain all the kiddos running around would tell you that was their favorite part of dinner. I was lucky enough to get one little bite before the numerous trays of it where gone, haha!! Everyone just relaxed and talked to friends and got to catch up. The kids loved the dance floor and are pretty hilarious to watch dance 😀 Melissa and I semi worked together a few years ago so it was nice to see some former co-workers there as well! This intimate June wedding was just what I needed heading into July.
I probably say this in all my posts but it’s true, I am so thankful for all the couples that allow me to capture their wedding day. Some find me from other friends and some out of the blue and I am thankful for every single everyone of them. It’ such a pleasure getting to know them and building a relationship.

Thanks so much, it was a beautiful day.
Trisha,
We are beyond happy with the pictures you recently took of our very special day. The word “thanks” seems pretty inadequate because it’s more than that! You were able to capture the best parts of that day so beautifully. These are the pictures that we will hang on our walls for years and years to come and they are simply classic and timeless!
You have been a pleasure to work with! Stan and I really appreciated the fact that you were able to meet up with us in person on a cold February morning at Perkins. You answered all of our questions and eased our concerns! You listened and took diligent notes as to the vibe and look we wanted to capture with our pictures.
When we were considering a photographer Meg suggested we go with you! We are so glad we took her advice! We honestly are not fans of taking pictures and more often than not we never really happy with what we get back. However, you made us feel comfortable and natural and you were able to capture so many amazing shots that we literally cannot pick our favorite ones. These pictures reflect our personalities and laid back vibe. They are ALL so perfect!
Thanks for getting to know us and you have new clients for life! You have such an eye for detail, perspective and texture! You truly have a calling for this!
Much love and respect,
Melissa and Stan Martin
