A season to remember
Bev and Mike’s wedding was oddly enough my first full wedding of the year! It was the perfect way to officially start my season at the beautiful Manakiki Golf Course. Rain or shine, virus or no virus Bev and Mike were going to get married, and in the end that’s really all that matters.
While the rain held off for everything but the ceremony, every part of the day was perfect. Bev’s dress was lacy and elegant and she looked beautiful in it and Mike in a white tux jacket. The nature center and North Chagrin Reservation is always a great spot for a first look and portraits. I love all of the trees, flowers, paths, and water. You can take gorgeous photos there almost any time of the year.
Golf Courses are almost always pretty and Manakiki is no exception. I love all of the hills and the gorgeous building where ceremonies and receptions are held. It is an elegant and timeless venue and looks great every time I have the opportunity to shoot there.
While I do believe Bev and Mike win for shortest ceremony at sub 10 minutes (my kind of ceremony;) ) it was still perfect. While masks where mandatory to dance, that didn’t stop many and it was so fun to see people enjoying themselves and celebrating.
While 2020 weddings are looking a bit different this year, including hand sanitizer and masks for gifts, Bev and Mike made the best of it and I am so grateful we where there to capture it.
Congratulation Bev and Mike and enjoy this exciting new season of your life together!
