Lake Erie
A lakefront wedding on this gorgeous property was an incredible way to end my August. I often take for granted just how beautiful Lake Erie is, and it did not disappoint on Julia’s and Brennen’s wedding day. Julia is lucky enough to have an Aunt who loves to host, create and decorate. She did everything from the chairs to the hexagon arch, every little detail perfectly in place and just as beautiful. I mean, who goes out and buys and hangs a gorgeous chandelier in the room where the bride is getting ready so it looks great?!
Recap
We really couldn’t have asked for a better day. This lakefront wedding while a bit warm had a steady breeze that really helped keep everyone cool. After an intimate family ceremony we had an entire hour for portraits. I am always grateful when brides allow for ample portrait time. It allows us to go slow and not rush through everything. The day goes by so fast as it is, so it’s nice to slow down for a bit. We where suppose to go to Headlands beach for portraits but after finding some incredible light with Lake Erie in the background we decided to stay and I am so glad we did. Great light is top priority during portrait time!
From there we headed to the reception at Father Klein Social Center. A great dinner, fantastic dancing and some cute kiddos running around. There where so many people that came to show their love and support for Julia and Brennen.
Julia and Brennen I wish you all the best and hope you are enjoying your honeymoon in LAS VEGAS BABY!
